We wanted to see what differences there were in a vintage 1977 Milton Bradley edition of Family Feud with another publisher's edition made to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the franchise.

We open a game that's remained sealed since it was sold in 1986 - that's 40 years unplayed! The electronic Sale of the Century includes a quirky buzz-in system that makes the board wonky, and 'prize cards' with lots of duplicates.
Will Tyler Wipeout?
In this episode of A Copy of Our Home Game!, we play a fan-made, Flash-based video game adaptation of the classic 1988–89 game show Wipeout, created by a fellow game show fan who sells his creations on Etsy.
80s Game Show CHAOS!
See if you can follow this... it's the board game version of a TV show based on a board game. Chase and Tyler take hold of "TV Scrabble," which itself deviates from the original game's rules, but which they find even deviates from the rules of the TV show.
To rectify this, they play a few rounds according to the show's rules and structure, complete with recreated graphics and sound effects from the 1984-1989 NBC program.
What is 'A Copy of Our Home Game?'
Chase and his husband Tyler have amassed a small collection of board games and video games based off television game shows. In each episode they'll go into the history of the show being explored, open up the game, play a round or two as the instruction booklets say, and possibly open it up to 'House Rules' to more faithfully capture the excitement of the show. Using recreated graphics and sound effects when available, it's sure to be an immersive experience for every game show fan!
